British Touring Car Championship star Tom Ingram will compete for the first time at the Super Touring Power event at Brands Hatch. He is the 2022 BTCC champion and currently second in the 2025 standings but will not race in the Super Touring events, instead driving a Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500 in the Group A races. Ingram will race the Jeremy Sutton-owned Sierra sporting the Benson & Hedges livery famous in the Australian Touring Car Championship. This opportunity allows Ingram to race a car typically associated with his rival Ash Sutton, while experiencing Group A machinery for the first time. Ingram expressed excitement for the new challenge and the upcoming race weekend, acknowledging the chance to race in a historic car like the RS500.
